Fallout: New Vegas takes place 204 years after a nuclear apocalypse. Life has emerged from underground vaults and returned to the surface. But things aren't exactly safe; mutants, bandits and rogues abound. This installment of the famous Fallout series takes place in and around the city of New Vegas. The city was not directly hit by nuclear, and remains relatively intact. Factions fight for control of the city, and players can ally with one of more of them. That is not to say the city and the surrounding Mojave Wasteland are safe. The only law comes out of the barrel of a gun, or the end of a laser blaster. It will take both skills and smarts to survive New Vegas.
